Matthew Watzka is a Staff Accountant and Bookkeeeping Specialist at FSC. A Dutchess County native, Matthew has nearly a decade of experience performing bookkeeping and accounting at area small businesses. In the past he has handled accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in both manufacturing and service-based environments.
Matthew holds a degree in Business Administration from New York University and, more recently, a degree in Accounting from New England College. Calling on this broad spectrum of experience and education, he is able to provide Financial Services Center’s clients with the complete and accurate information needed to make smart financial decisions. He prides himself in delivering the same level of service and professionalism to every small, local business as he would a Fortune 500 firm.
In 2015, Matthew became an Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Advanced. As a result, he can now better assist Financial Service Center's clients with QuickBooks file setup, customization and optimization. This even includes more advanced QuickBooks topics such as transitioning from desktop to online versions, implementing billable time and expenses, establishing class and location tracking, and setting up estimates and progress billing.
